Álvaro is an expert in Procedural Law (Civil and Criminal jurisdictions) and in Administrative Law.

His professional activities include negotiating on behalf of sports professionals and representing their interests in the criminal, civil and administrative jurisdictions, and in arbitration proceedings. He also has extensive, varied industry experience, and this breadth allows him effortlessly to identify and resolve the technical difficulties inherent in legal relations between sportspeople, agents, artists, representatives, sponsors and producers.

Now a partner of De Carlos Remón, he began his career with the firm of Arcenegui and Cosculluela Montaner, going on to join the Administrative Law and Litigation departments of Clifford Chance.
