Victoria García Verón
Victoria specializes in in Civil and Commercial Litigation and International Arbitration.
Admitted to the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) in Spain and the Italian Bar Association (Ordine degli Avvocati di Milano), she has a strong legal and business background. Her professional practice focuses on resolving complex disputes, both in court and in arbitration, specializing in civil and commercial procedural law and international arbitration.
She has extensive experience representing states, public entities, multinational corporations, and investment funds in litigation and investment disputes, particularly in Latin America. She has participated in proceedings before civil and commercial courts, as well as in arbitrations under the rules of the ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, and CAM.
Victoria has advised on disputes related to construction and infrastructure contracts, energy, software, corporate disputes, and contractual liability. In addition to her experience in litigation, she has participated in pre-litigation negotiations and strategic risk analysis in international investment contexts.
She has also played an active role in arbitration proceedings, including obtaining interim relief, anti-suit injunctions and enforcing and setting aside arbitral awards.
She is a member of several professional associations, such as CEIA-40, ICC YAF, and CELN, and has authored publications on arbitration, litigation, and investment. She has also been a speaker and moderator at international events.
