Gema Mendoza Mayo
Gema specializes in civil and commercial litigation, as well as Insolvency Law.
She has advised in a number of court and arbitration proceedings at all stages, including the application for interim relief and the recognition (exequatur) and enforcement of arbitral awards.
Her practice also covers insolvency proceedings, acting for both the debtor and the creditor (usually a syndicate of banks), and in relation to rescissory, subordination and enforcement claims. She has also assisted in a number of refinancing pre-insolvency proceedings, in connection with 5 bis applications and judicially sanctioned arrangements.
She has experience in construction and commercial disputes and in matters relating to insurance law, distribution agreements, complex financial products and security enforcement.
