Gema Mendoza Mayo
Gema specializes in corporate restructuring, insolvency, and strategic crisis management.
She has extensive experience in designing and implementing restructuring plans, including comprehensive advice on schemes of arrangements, insolvency proceedings and identifying and anticipating insolvency scenarios, as well as defining pre-insolvency strategies focused on preserving value and ensuring business continuity.
She regularly advises debtors and financial creditors—such as banking syndicates and funds—in all stages of restructuring and insolvency proceedings. In particular, she helps her clients scheme the overall strategy, coordinate with advisors and make key decisions in highly complex situations.
Her insolvency practice is complemented with her experience in civil and commercial litigation, namely in enforcement proceedings and pre-emptive reliefs.
