Francisco Javier Gómez Gutiérrez
An expert in Tax Law, he holds a Degree in Law by the Autónoma de Madrid University (awarded 1981), is a member of the Treasury Office Management Body (Inspection area) since 1982 (currently on leave) and a practicing Attorney since 1992.
After a decade developing his professional career at the Treasury Madrid and Barcelona Tax Inspection Units, he took the leap onto the free professional practicing advising and representing private taxpayers before the Public Administration. In his long and varied professional experience he has advised individuals and entities with different profiles and industry presence in the management of their personal and corporate assets, helping to rationalize tax costs derived from corporate or equity transactions.
He has also represented his clients in administrative and judicial tax proceedings, arguing in favour of divergent -albeit respectful of the Spanish legal tax system- interpretations of the tax rules.
He has also acted as Accounts Auditor, ruling on the accuracy and truthfulness of business and institutions’ account records.
His professional record also includes his teaching experience as a Tax Law professor at the Alcalá de Henares University and the CEU San Pablo de Madrid University.
