De Carlos Remón Corporate team, led by José Manuel de Carlos, has advised Kira Ventures, a company specializing in the development of energy transition projects, in the negotiation of an investment agreement with Valoriza Servicios Ambientales, a leading company in waste management controlled by Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners.

As a result of the transaction, Valoriza has acquired a stake in KamBIO Energía, previously wholly owned by Kira Ventures, to support the €400 million investment needed to develop more than 20 biomethane production projects across Spain. Once completed, these projects will contribute more than 1 TW to the grid.
